I've really been dreading writing this review because frankly, I'm still not sure how I feel about Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation of the revered graphic novel (yes, I'm calling it a graphic novel), Watchm

So what didn't work? I thought that both Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino were quite weak. Akerman's performance came across as pretty shallow to me, and Gugino's first real scene in the film as an old woman almost had me laughing out loud because it seemed so campy. I could take or leave Patrick Wilson's performance - maybe it was just the character he was playing that left me c

This is the post I never, ever, wanted to write. The post I never, ever thought I'd have to write. But writing it I am, scarcely believing the words even as I type them: the Watchmen movie is embroiled in a legal battle that, (in a worst case scenario,) could end up having it be barred from release, indefinit

It is now 1985 and masked vigilantes have been outlawed by the government for almost 15 years; Richard Nixon is in his 5th term as President, and the world is on the brink of a nuclear war between the United States and Rus

M. Night Shyamalan has been a victim of his own success (and his ego) with each of his films getting pretty much worse than the one that came before. However here he will be tackling something completely different from anything he has ever done before, and based on the one trailer we've seen so far it looks like it may turn out to be impressive. We'll

The film is visually stunning, which is what we've come to expect from Guillermo del Toro, and very well done. The characters are even more at home with each other than they were in the first film and I loved the introduction of Johan Krauss, the ectoplasmic entity contained within an airtight suit. I could have sworn he was being voiced by Jeremy Irons but it turns out it was actually Seth MacFarlane doing the voice work. He really delivered his lines perfectly and somehow made an incredibly pompous and anal retentive character likea

Well, after nearly two decades of starts and stops and almosts, Watchmen was finally tossed into the laps of Warner Bros. by producer Larry Gordon, who had obtained the rights to the film in a turnaround agreement with Fox in 1994, with the stipulation (according to Fox) that the studio's original terms of contract still be honored, including the buy-out fee. According to the Fox's lawsuit, Gordon and Warner Bros. failed to make good on that prom

There's been much talk about a sequel to the 2008 surprise superhero movie games walkthroughs|https://superheromoviespot.Com/ hit, Hancock , with conversation picking up particularly when it comes to the cast of Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman possibly returning to do another.
