The film takes place in an alternate 1985 America during the Cold War, following a group of retired superheroes investigating the murder of one of their own. As they delve deeper, they uncover a complex conspiracy that could alter the course of history. The ensemble cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Patrick Wilson, and Malin Aker<br><br> <br>Green Hornet made it onto the list just on morbid curiosity. I'm a big fan of the 60s TV series and was hoping to see a serious take on it on the big screen. However the production has not been smooth to say the least with apparent differences of opinion between Seth Rogen, director Michael Gondry and Stephen Chow (who eventually left the production altogether), production delays, script changes, etc. We'll see what the final product looks like at the end of 2<br><br> <br>Well, after nearly two decades of starts and stops and almosts, Watchmen was finally tossed into the laps of Warner Bros. by producer Larry Gordon, who had obtained the rights to the film in a turnaround agreement with Fox in 1994, with the stipulation (according to Fox) that the studio's original terms of contract still be honored, including the buy-out fee. According to the Fox's lawsuit, Gordon and Warner Bros. failed to make good on that prom<br> <br>The film takes us through Dan and Laurie rediscovering that the only time they really feel alive is when they're in full costume, out there fighting crime. As a matter of fact, Dan goes through a Clark Kent to Superman transformation once he dons his costume, changing from a clumsy, impotent coward, into (as Jesse Ventura so eloquently said in Predator ) a sexual Tyrannosau<br><br> <br>After Fox filed suit, Warner Bros. immediately filed a motion for dismissal with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, claiming to have done no wrong. As of this past Friday, the judge has thrown out that motion, allowing Fox to proceed full-steam with its laws<br><br> <br>Despite this, I still have faith in the man to pull off all he has committed himself to. Like I said, he certainly has the talent as a filmmaker to pull it all off, we've seen that with the likes of Pan's Labyrinth (which, if you haven't seen already, do so ASAP - it really is that good), Hellboy (not so much with the sequel, although it was still a fun watch) and The Devil's Backbo<br><br> <br>Synopsis: In this sequel, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.
