I really liked the way his evolution from the character we met at the opening to the heroic character took so long to happen. And then there will be, I believe</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in the fall the Ultimate Watchmen cut which will have the Black Freighter thread through the film </ins>which <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">includes </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ins </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">outs that we shot at </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">newsstand so that’s pretty fun</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">And another thing is we finished all the versions and it was an enormous amount of money because </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Dr. Manhattan. Because if you think about it, it was an hour difference between </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">theatrical version</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">so it’s a lot of visual effects on Dr. Manhattan and we finished </ins>it <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">at </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">same quality so we were really excited that they let us do t</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Green Hornet made it onto </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">list just on morbid curiosity. I</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">m a big fan of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">60s TV series </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">was hoping </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">see </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">serious take on it on the big screen. However the production has not been smooth </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">say </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">least with apparent differences of opinion between Seth Rogen</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">director Michael Gondry </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Stephen Chow (who eventually left </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">production altogether</ins>), <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">production delays, script changes, etc</ins>. We<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'ll see what the final product looks like at </ins>the end <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of 2</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The legal broo-ha-ha started back </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">February </ins>of this <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">year</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">when Fox filed a copy infringement and breach </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">contract suit against studio Warner Bros.</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">which owns </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">current version </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Watchmen being helmed by director Zack Snyder ( 300 ). Fox's claim was that they had obtained </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">rights to Alan Moore </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Dave Gibbons' genre-shattering graphic novel, and all subsequent film endeavors related to it, between </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">years </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">1986 </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">1</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Up until now there's been unofficial speculation that the Watchmen DVD/Blu-ray would feature an extended cut of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">film--one that possibly included Tales of The Black Freighter </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Watchmen 's animated story-within-</ins>a<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">-story, interwoven with </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">live</ins>-<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">action film much as it was in the original graphic no</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Synopsis: A rail company frantically works </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">prevent an unmanned, half-mile</ins>-<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">long freight train carrying combustible liquids </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">poisonous gas from wiping </ins>out a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">city. Tony Scott directs, Denzel Washington and Star Trek 's Chris Pine s</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">If there was ever a film that was suited to the twisted vision of Tim Burton, this </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it. I'm not </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">biggest Burton fan and some of what I've seen </ins>in the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">trailer doesn't quite work for me (</ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Red Queen's head is so huge it looks cartoonish)</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but overall this </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">bound </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">be a feast for the senses and probably the closest a screen version will get </ins>to the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">source mater
</ins>

5. George Lucas may not be in everyone's good books - but I like the guy. Having said that, as a life long Star Wars fan I have no intention of going to see The Clone Wars . It's not due to the fact I hated the prequels (I didn't) I just don't like kids and I'm not a big fan of animat

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The guys over at Collider were attending </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">press junket for Watchmen recently </ins>and made the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">savvy move of asking director Zack Snyder some pointed questions </ins>about <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">what fans can expect to see from </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Watchmen DVD/Blu-ray </ins>when <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">released this summer - probably some time </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">early Aug</ins>
In that post I made special mention of the fact that in the Watchmen graphic novel, one of the keystone story elements was the life </del>(<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and subsequent violent death</del>) <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of Hollis Mason</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the first Nite Owl</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">who is wonderfully portrayed </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the film (</del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the "Under The Hood" documentary tie</del>-in<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">) by Stephen McHat</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Shock Till You Drop has learned that Sony </del>is in the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">planning stages </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">remaking </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Tony Todd terror flick. The original was based </del>on <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Clive Barker short story The Forbidden , </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it spawned two follow-
</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">So while the sum of its parts isn't perfect, the individual pieces were quite excellent</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">If you enjoyed the first film you</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ll definitely enjoy this one </del>- <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and if you </del>like <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">dark mixed with comedy</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this might be for you </del>as <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">well</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">And bring a date since it</del>'s <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">got clingy and laugh out loud enjoyable moments as well.

So for some time now Watchmen director Zack Snyder has been saying there would be two versions of Watchmen released on DVD/Blu-ray: a directors cut, featuring the full-length version of Watchmen </del>not <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">shown in theaters, as well as an "ultimate edition" of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">film, which would include </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">full-lentgh film interwoven with the animated Tales of the Black Freighter side-story, </del>just like <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in the original graphic no</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">So </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">made the scenes </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">were dark </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">creepy stand out that much more in contrast. I really liked </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">way his evolution </ins>from <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the character we met at the opening </ins>to the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">heroic character took so long </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">happen</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">He was portrayed as truly reluctant</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">one more than one level and it made </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">transformation that much more believa</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The public has just about had it </ins>with <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">him </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s the last straw when he causes massive damage </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a freight train while saving </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">life </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Ray Embrey (played by Jason Bateman)</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Embrey has visions of saving the world through marketing but </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">pretty much </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Quixotic character since his ideas are </ins>so <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">outrageous to </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">corporate execs to whom he makes his pitches</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">In Hancock, he sees a great opportunity to do good, and to help him as well </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">exchange for saving his l</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The Return of </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Legend—The evolution </ins>of the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new film and a tribute to </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">legendary hero and his creators. Well</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">you're just going to have to trust me. This is the second funniest commentary you'll ever hear. And </del>it<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'s hardly on purpose. Not only does Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice always evoke laughter </del>from <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">me, but he may very well be on some drugs. </del>The <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">first lines </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this commentary provide reason enough to give this DVD </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">chance. Now it's called Cop O</del>

Synopsis: <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">A post-apocalyptic tale, in which </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">lone man </del>(<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Denzel Washington</del>) <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fights </del>his <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">way across America in order </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">protect </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sacred book that holds </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">secrets to saving humankind. Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis co</del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Having said </del>that, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">just think about this: the studio has already hired two writers for Hancock 2 , and so it seems they want to get it into theaters sooner before later. I've said it before but I'll reiterate </del>- <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">could we see Berg departing Hancock 2 </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the studio bringing in another director in his place? If they want to get this thing in the can soon, and Berg is busy, it only makes sense that he'd be replaced</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It's not like the reason people went to see the first Hancock was because Berg directed... And he already had to drop out </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the Dune remake</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Last year was brutal</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as I was covering the Con not only </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">general </del>for <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Screen Rant but in particular for AdvancedIron</del>.<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">org </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the number one Iron Man fan site in the world (with some help from my pal John Comerford). This year I was determined to relax a bit </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">enjoy the event m</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Not only </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">he one of the most proud filmmakers out </del>there, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but this is (</del>at <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the time </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">recording) his own best work. During </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">famous Christopher Walken/Dennis Hopper conversation scene, </del>he <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">goes off about how that story came about and why it is so great. he then proceeds to stop talking and watch the sc</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"I don</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">t want </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sound too arrogant </del>about the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">thing because there</del>'s <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">nothing worse than someone saying</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"</del>I made the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">best damn movie </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">all time!"</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">then you watch it</del>, and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">you go, </del>"<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Yeah...</del>" <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I can say this... not </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it means much... but it's definitely </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">best movie I've ever made</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">That doesn't mean </del>it<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'s a great film. But, for me, I think I punched above my weig</del>

So while the sum of its parts isn't perfect, the individual pieces were quite excellent. If you enjoyed the first film you'll definitely enjoy this one - and if you like dark mixed with comedy, this might be for you as well. And bring a date since it's got clingy and laugh out loud enjoyable moments as well.

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Personally</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I'd love to see a sequel to The Rundown </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">which I think is </del>an <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">under-appreciated film that features Dwayne </del>"<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The Rock</del>" <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Johnson and Sean William Scott cooking up some great comedic chemistry. I'd much rather he concentrate on doing another one </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that than do Hancock 2 , because frankly, I don't wanna' see another Hancock . To me</del>, the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">first installment was a fun</del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">at-times </del>film<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, but one that didn't live up to its huge potential, IMHO. And </del>the story <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">was fine for one film</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">possible sequel storyline pitched by Berg awhile back didn't sound that good to</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"There's nothing in this film </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">couldn't happen. Some of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">actions sequences are</del>.<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">.. you know, we</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">re making a movie, so I pushed </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">boundaries </del>as <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">far as I could. There </del>are <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a few moments you'd maybe pull off </del>one <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">million times if you were doing it for real. But I tried to ground this as much in reality without it being </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">documenta</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Synopsis: Jack Black stars in this re-imagining </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">classic tale</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer </del>on <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">hidden island of Lilliput</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">home to a population </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">industrious, yet tiny, peo</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The reason </del>this <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is "all the way down" at #9 is because it is only available on Blu</del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ray </del>and I <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">have been informed by top secret sources that not everybody has a Blu-ray player (it</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s worth </del>it<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">)</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Having said </del>that<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, Zack Snyder's "In-Movie Experience" commentary is </del>one <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">most unique and in-depth looks at a movie ever made</del>. The first lines of this commentary provide reason enough to give this DVD a chance. There's even a drinking game to enjoy throughout. I actually bought it solely for the director and actor audio track. If buying it isn't part of your idea of a good time, simply watch this collection of mome

Synopsis: A comedy about two cops (Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan) whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money. Kevin Smith directs. Formerly titled "A Couple of Dicks" and then "A Couple of Cops". Now it's called Cop O

Synopsis: A post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man (Denzel Washington) fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind. Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis co-s

Having said that, just think about this: the studio has already hired two writers for Hancock 2 , and so it seems they want to get it into theaters sooner before later. I've said it before but I'll reiterate - could we see Berg departing Hancock 2 and the studio bringing in another director in his place? If they want to get this thing in the can soon, and Berg is busy, it only makes sense that he'd be replaced. It's not like the reason people went to see the first Hancock was because Berg directed... And he already had to drop out of the Dune remake

Last year was brutal, as I was covering the Con not only in general for Screen Rant but in particular for AdvancedIron.org , the number one Iron Man fan site in the world (with some help from my pal John Comerford). This year I was determined to relax a bit and enjoy the event m

Not only is he one of the most proud filmmakers out there, but this is (at the time of recording) his own best work. During the famous Christopher Walken/Dennis Hopper conversation scene, he goes off about how that story came about and why it is so great. he then proceeds to stop talking and watch the sc

"I don't want to sound too arrogant about the thing because there's nothing worse than someone saying, "I made the best damn movie of all time!", then you watch it, and you go, "Yeah..." I can say this... not that it means much... but it's definitely the best movie I've ever made. That doesn't mean it's a great film. But, for me, I think I punched above my weig

So while the sum of its parts isn't perfect, the individual pieces were quite excellent. And bring a date since it's got clingy and laugh out loud enjoyable moments as well.

Personally, I'd love to see a sequel to The Rundown , which I think is an under-appreciated film that features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Sean William Scott cooking up some great comedic chemistry. I'd much rather he concentrate on doing another one of that than do Hancock 2 , because frankly, I don't wanna' see another Hancock . To me, the first installment was a fun-at-times film, but one that didn't live up to its huge potential, IMHO. And the story was fine for one film, but the possible sequel storyline pitched by Berg awhile back didn't sound that good to

"There's nothing in this film that couldn't happen. Some of the actions sequences are... you know, we're making a movie, so I pushed the boundaries as far as I could. There are a few moments you'd maybe pull off one in a million times if you were doing it for real. But I tried to ground this as much in reality without it being a documenta

Synopsis: Jack Black stars in this re-imagining of the classic tale. Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious, yet tiny, peo

The reason this is "all the way down" at #9 is because it is only available on Blu-ray and I have been informed by top secret sources that not everybody has a Blu-ray player (it's worth it). Having said that, Zack Snyder's "In-Movie Experience" commentary is one of the most unique and in-depth looks at a movie ever made. I'll let the director speak for it by quoting his introduction over the film's opening credits just moments after walking into fr

"I don't want to tempt fate. But Mark (Millar) and I over a couple of beers came up with one of the funniest, coolest idea for a sequel that we would only be able to get away with if the film does well. We'd sort of dial it up to eleven, shall we s

"Aaron Johnson... mark my words, is going to be a huge [https://superheromoviespot.com/ superhero movie games reviews|https://Superheromoviespot.com/] star... He has that charisma where you believe every word he says. He can also stand in front of the camera and say nothing, but you still want to watch him. He's fun. The actor I think he'll become is Robert Downey, Jr. He's very similar to h
